My orthopedic surgeon recommended I start Pilates after a stress fracture in my knee and treatment for arthritis in my neck. I have made astounding strides in my flexibility and strength. I’ve always tried to stay away from any kind of exercise! But after neck surgery it was evident that I needed something to get me moving. After only four weeks of pilates I have to admit to actually liking it! Better yet is that my body is beginning to feel and act as it did previously.
