In the last 20 years I have found nothing that I could stick with until I tried reformer pilates.  I have gained strength and flexibility from working the program.  It is much easier for me towalk at a good pace and for longer distances.  I fell two years ago and physical therapy could not rehabilitate me as pilates has.  My body feels so much better!

My orthopedic surgeon recommended I start Pilates after a stress fracture in my knee and treatment for arthritis in my neck.  I have made astounding strides in my flexibility and strength.  It’s so evident in the little things.  For the first time in many years, I am pain free.  Many friends have commented on my increased stamina.

I’ve always tried to stay away from any kind of exercise!  But after neck surgery it was evident that I needed something to get me moving.  After only four weeks of pilates I have to admit to actually liking it!  Better yet is that my body is beginning to feel and act as it did previously.  When I miss a few sessions, I can definitely feel it.
