Yoga Workshop

Join us for a free 60-minute yoga workshop taught by Erin and Kimra! Try five (5) different types of yoga:

Hatha Yoga is the physical practice of yoga postures, designed to calm the mind and work the body. It is the yoga of balance.

Vinyasa Yoga is the transition from one pose to the next, using the breath to guide the movement. The class is dynamic and poses are held for short periods at a time.

Naam Yoga uses movement, music and breath to create vibrational healing through Shakti energy. The class is energetic and fun and encourages freedom and laughter!

Restorative Yoga is a grounding practice that calms the body. Poses are typically held from 2-3 minutes and breath work is used to center and slow down the restless mind.

Power Yoga combines cardio with yoga poses in a dynamic, energetic class that challenges the body and the mind.

This is an all levels class that allows you to try 10-15 minutes of each type of yoga. Mats, blankets, blocks, and straps will be available for use. All attendees will have first dibs in registering for our two new yoga classes, Restorative Yoga and Hatha Yoga that start the following Saturday, August 26th.

**Register online on the Pilates Tempe schedule. Please wear comfortable workout clothing. If you are a new client, we ask that you come in 10 minutes before the start of the workshop in order to complete a health history form.**

This workshop will consist of:
1) An introduction to essential oil basics: what an essential oil is, their physical and emotional benefits, and what you should know before using them
2) How they can be used topically, internally, and diffused aromatically and the chance to try some of the most popular essential oils right at the workshop
3) Information on essential oil solutions for yourself and your family, plus natural blends and recipes for home and on the go
4) A special Q&A with Essential Oil Wellness Advocates

Our Nutrition Consultant, Emiley, is in the studio demonstrating savory and sweet treats for a healthy 

holiday season. Learn how to make easy and organic appetizers, snacks, beverages, and desserts for holiday parties/events. Cost: $10 (includes demo, recipes, & box of treats)

Foam Roller Workshop

Pilates Day

It's worldwide Pilates Day! Get together with your friends, family and fellow clients to meet our staff and participate in a special event to support global health through Pilates! Check out our charity fundraiser, where $5 gets you five minutes to "teach" one of our teachers the exercise of your choosing (including planks)! A "raffle" drawing will be part of the festivities, featuring prizes including Pilates packages,  Barre & Yoga classes, TRX classes, doTERRA essential oils, and Philosophy Beauty products! All drawing proceeds will support the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization that has helped over 100,000 veterans and service members. Delicious summer treats served all day! Join us in celebrating wellness by supporting Pilates Day at Pilates Tempe!
