Pilates is a unique system of stabilizing, strengthening and stretching exercises developed almost 100 years ago by Joseph Pilates. He created the first “Reformer” by attaching springs to hospital beds to help support, strengthen, and rehabilitate his patients during WWI. He brought Pilates to the U.S. in 1926 and began his lifelong work training dancers and athletes in New York City. Today, Pilates focuses on the lengthening of the spine and the strengthening of the core in people of all ages and abilities. We believe Pilates is for everyone and every body.
We offer a wide range of classes from our traditional Pilates Reformer classes to Weight Training, Fitness Circuit, TRX, Stretch, and even Virtual Livestream classes and On-Demand subscriptions.
We don’t believe in contracts here at Pilates Tempe. Our packages rage from 30-90 days and you renew when you need to. We don’t like to lock people into monthly contracts. Our philosophy here is that we want you to some because you love it here! Not because you are obligated to for a year or longer.
We do not offer refunds.
We understand that things happen and sometimes you can’t finish all the classes in your package. This is why we have a class roll-over policy in place. For class packages of 8, you can roll over 1 class to your next purchased package of 8 or more. For class packages of 12, you can roll over 2 classes to a package of 10 or more.

Yes, we do have personal training with our on-staff certified personal trainers. We have offer 30-minute semi-private training (groups of 1-3) and private hour personal training. Book your personal training session here.

We have implemented a number of new policies and procedures due to our current situation. We have always asked that you clean you machines and any equipment you used, but are now using a more powerful sanitizer specifically for our machines. Each reformer has its own cubby that has towels, hand sanitizer, and equipment sanitizer, and is a place for you to put your belongings.
In order to maintain physical distance, we have limited the capacity of all our in-studio classes. We have also added HIPAA compliant air purifiers in each room.
*We do require masks before you enter our studio, during, and after class.
